After a weeks break from blogging, I am eager to share some new textures with you guys. (I hope you all enjoyed the holidays by the way, I know I did). Lately, it seems like I am starting to focus more on unique, handmade textures as opposed to natural textures found in the wild (texture hunting as I like to call it). I like to paint every once in awhile, mostly with acrylics, so this afternoon I broke out the brushes and pigments and went to town. I like the way these textures turned out and I plan on doing more of them in the near future, probably with some watercolors and mixed media thrown in.
